Bitcoin

Bitcoin has been growing at an alarming high rate and many people do not know what to think of it.  But the weird thing about it Bitcoin, is they do not market themselves.  They seem to rely on others to spread the news about Bitcoin and that is exactly what is happening.   All around the world Bitcoin is leaving their marketing to TV news, word of mouth and different internet articles.  I guess if it has been working for them then why change the way they are doing it.   I know Bitcoin is not a company per say but a cryptocurrency.   But if they believe of themselves as being the future in the currency market then they should be sharing that news around.  Marketing for a currency must not be the easies thing but if things are just being shared by word of mouth then who knows how big it can get. 

            Bitcoin has been talked about ever since the price went up to 11,000 and people started going bananas.  I wonder if this is what happen once people started using gold as a currency even though it is a very different concept.  I still have not bought into the whole idea of it.  The idea that people can just dig up bitcoin’s on the dark web is just wild to me and I do not know how the government will deal with this if it start taking over the dollars market share.  If I were another company I would think of starting to use bitcoin as a type of currency that can be used because of the amount of people using the stuff. 

I really find that estimate very hard to believe.  From what I know about Bitcoin I know that people stop finding a use for Bitcoin/ if it gets regulated in the future I see the value significantly going down because people will not see a use for it when there are already enough ways to buy things over the internet.  In my opinion if Bitcoin does end up taking off to what some think will happen it will eventually put physical currency like coins and bills out of society.  That is very weird to think about because the physical currency is something we have been using for over 150 years and to think that it could be completely irrelevant.  I would love to here all of your opinions on what you think of Bitcoin and whether or no you think I am correct saying that it could put physical currency out of the loop.
